Raised in Suwannee County, Pamela grew up on a poultry, hay and cattle farm, which instilled in her a love for this area and for beautiful farmland. Pamela is a proud graduate of Suwannee High School and Lake City Community College, going on to earn her degree in early childhood and elementary education from the University of Florida. She chose to pursue a career in education, retiring from Branford Elementary School this August after teaching for 38 years!

Pamela married her high school sweetheart Michael Nettles, and they settled in McAlpin, FL. There they raised two sons, Travis and Tyson, with whom Pam was very active in their education and activities from little league to varsity sports! Her family is her pride and joy, and she loves spoiling her 6 grandchildren, 3 of which attend Branford Elementary School and 1 who attends Branford High School.
